At Riday Foundations, our journey began inside remote tribal hamlets where families lived with limited food, no electricity, broken schools, and almost no access to healthcare. In 2016, when Mr. Ganesh Nayak first began helping these communities with rations, school supplies, and basic necessities, he realised the truth—people weren’t asking for charity, they were asking for a fair chance. Since then, our work has grown from simple relief to a deep, long-term commitment touching over 100,000 lives across rural Maharashtra. Whether we are restoring borewells, supporting children’s education, funding life-saving medical care, providing solar lights to families, or planting thousands of trees, each effort is rooted in dignity and sustainability. We stand with underserved communities so they can rise with opportunity, confidence, and hope for a brighter future. Over the years, we’ve learned that lasting change happens when people are empowered, not rescued. This is why we focus on strengthening local schools, building skills for youth, creating pathways for women’s independence, and restoring the natural environment that sustains entire villages

The Riday Foundation was born from a deep sense of compassion and commitment to making a difference. Established in 2016 by Mr. Ganesh Nayak, the founder of Animal Matter to Me, the foundation’s initial focus was on helping tribal communities in Maharashtra. What began as small-scale efforts to provide rations and clothing to families in need soon grew into a larger movement, addressing critical areas such as education, healthcare, and environmental preservation.
Our founder’s passion for nature led to tree-planting drives that have grown in scale over the years, turning barren land into green havens and providing sustainable livelihoods for many. Simultaneously, Riday Foundation recognized the urgent need for medical assistance in remote areas and began providing aid for surgeries and long-term treatments for those who could not afford it.
Our focus has always been on creating real, sustainable change—whether by helping a child access education, providing life-saving medical aid, or promoting environmental conservation. Today, we are proud to continue this legacy, working tirelessly to empower communities and protect the planet.
